Dig through a world that keeps getting stranger

130+ named discoveries. Every diggable cultural and geological layer has at least ten different specimens: human artifacts, fossils, dinosaur remains, thermal minerals, Atlantean technology and rare anachronisms.

Six systems, eight upgrade levels each. The weakest module gates seven story chapters. Prices grow exponentially, so deep finds matter.

Unique Aegis components. Twelve alien components exist exactly once per world. They cannot be sold or installed separately. Return them all to Grandma and Mario replaces the terrestrial machine with the complete Aegis/Invictus digger.

Corporate escalation. Level-based drone waves can flee, dig upward and later fire. Destroyed drones leave salvage. At threat level4 an army jeep sells a separate cannon branch; weapon level never advances the story.

Mobile bases and procedural depth. Version 1.0.5 adds fully procedural strata, a randomized starter shaft, smarter drone logistics, and guaranteed useful discoveries near the opening route. Deploy an empty 10000-litre depot in a supported 5-by-4 chamber, then haul fuel into it. Explore approximately1.6 kilometres of cultural and geological layers, caves and hidden structures.

Version 1.0.5 is available now — $4.99. Windows ZIP, Windows installer and experimental Android APK included. The interface, dialogue and museum are in English. Sound is not included yet and will be added in upcoming updates.

Android 1.0.5 uses the same package identity and is an in-place update. Broader device coverage and controller testing remain in progress.

Historical placement and some artifact attributions are fictionalized; museum articles distinguish real-world references.

Controls and installation

WASD or arrows: move and drill. Forward + down: diagonal drilling. W/up: thrusters in an open passage. E: services. X: dynamite. F: pulse. B: mobile base. SPACE: purchased cannon underground. M: map. J: museum. Escape: pause and Grandpa's notes. Android: drag from any free screen area to steer; action buttons remain independent.

Windows ZIP: extract Dig-for-Home-Windows-1.0.5.zip and run Dig-for-Home.exe. Windows installer: run Dig-for-Home-Setup-1.0.5.exe. Android: install Dig-for-Home-Android-1.0.5.apk over the previous version without uninstalling to retain local saves.
