RURK FREE — Radical Universal Roleplay Kit
A downloadable role-playing kit for Windows and Android
A free universal d100 tabletop RPG app for grounded, tactical play.
RURK — Radical Universal Roleplay Kit is a battle-tested d100 role-playing system developed over years and refined through thousands of games.
The core idea is simple at the table, but unusually rich under the hood: skills are not isolated numbers. Each skill grows from several attributes at once, so a fighter, investigator, pilot, thief, occultist, or diplomat is shaped by a whole person — body, perception, intellect, nerve, training, and circumstance.
This free edition lets you start with RURK immediately. Download it, open the rulebook, and see whether the engine fits your table.
What makes RURK different?
- Universal d100 resolution — clear percentile checks, readable at the table.
- Multi-attribute skills — competence comes from several traits working together, not one “main stat.”
- Grounded simultaneous combat — danger moves at the same time; bullets, claws, blades, and panic do not politely wait in line.
- Human-feeling characters — bodies, wounds, training, perception, fear, and circumstance all matter.
- GM and player support — rules, references, worlds, gear, characters, and play material packed into one app.
